Vacationing in Belgium

Dear all,

We’re writing this update from Belgium, where, after a year, we’re spending some time with Guido's family and in our Antwerp sending church. We have had some rain and cold—quite the contrary of what's going on in Girona—and also a bit of sun. Guido has been dividing his time between finishing up some study work and spending the afternoons with the family.

Over the last months in Girona, we've just continued to work on what we always do: Hospitality and relationships, core-grouping, and presence in our city. We're very glad and grateful to see the core group grow and people added to our community. We also recorded a video in both English and Dutch about our work. So, while you might know a bit about us, we'd still invite you to go check it out!

With this video, we're also launching our English and Dutch landing page, including this blog, to stay connected to you all.

For now, we'll stay a bit longer in Belgium, hoping to get in a few days of real rest before returning home to Girona. We're encouraged by what God is doing, and we honestly don't want to miss out.

Many greetings and blessings from our family to yours!

Prayer and Thanksgiving

  • Please thank God with us for the encouraging fellowship within our core group and for the time spent with family in Belgium.

  • Please pray with us for whatever the following season brings us: For time and love to share with those who God brings on our path. For both our core group meetings and more public gatherings.

  • Please pray for our family and for us to steward our time wisely as we raise our kids, reach out to others, minister to our community and continue to learn and grow, whether it be in finishing the ThM or other learning opportunities.
